OUR TEAM
It brings us a great deal of pride to have the honor of introducing you to the finest group of people who happen to be our beloved employees. It is important to us that you understand the amount of dedication that these fine people display toward your trophies everyday. When considering a taxidermy company, we want clients to understand that their decision to use Weller’s Wildlife Studio is not only wise for the integrity of the animal and trophy room, but is also benefitting the many families of our unique operation. |
Bud Weller
Bud is the creator of Weller’s Wildlife Studio. With his hard work and that of his partners, who happen to be his loving wife and son, they have created one of the finest taxidermy institutions in the world. His “old school” approach is what defines him, and his resilience is what carried the team through the many tough times and challenges that it has faced. He has instilled a hard work ethic in all of our team members and, like it or not, you always know right where he stands. Visiting with clients about their trophies and adventures, and keeping a careful watch over all details, are some of the many things Bud is doing these days. He also is an accomplished hunter and loves his family, business, dog, and boat. |

Gavin Weller
Driven to be an industry leader, Gavin has spent the last twenty years working intently on developing a unique taxidermy product. Learning and understanding client needs and leading a team, have become some of Gavin’s strongest points. Life size projects are a favorite, but working with the team is what is most rewarding for him. The opportunity to do all of this with his family means the world to him. There is not a single project that goes through our door that he doesn’t pour his heart into. He is an accomplished musician, outdoorsman, and loves his wonderful family. |

She has also invested enormous sacrifices ensuring the success of the company. She is a keystone in her family, business, and circle of friends. “Mare” as they call her, has many hobbies including spiritual development, oil painting, hiking, friends, and most importantly, her three children and four grandchildren. |

Tom Carter
Tom is the most talented person we have ever had the luxury of employing. His influence on our product is huge. Habitat, manikin fabrication and alteration, artistic influence and design, are what Tom brings to our company and your trophy room. Above all of that, Tom is the kindest man who is revered by all of his team mates. Tom’s commitment to his children and family is admirable. His free time is spent decorating his home and art galleries with incredible sculptures. |

Richie Jones
Richie is our team veteran as he has been with our company for ten plus years. Richie leads the Finishing Department with passion and pride, and also assists with the mounting process. As a people person, Richie will “give you the shirt off of his back”. He dramatically contributes to our product and is very committed to our company. He loves being in the trenches and enjoys a team atmosphere. Richie’s passion is racing and is quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with. |

Alberto "Tico" Garcia Tico's dependability and even-keeled personality, mixed with a "can do" approach, has made him a valued team member. Tico is very tallented with mechanics and has a great ability to execute and complete anything that is required of him. His sense of humor is exceptional and he always wears a smile. He keeps busy with his wife and two football playing sons. We are happy to have him on our staff. |

Nick Ibarra
When we heard that Nick was coming off of the road from working on museum and amusement park dioramas, we jumped at the opportunity to employ him. Nick, a Tucson native, is an exceptionally talented fabricator and artison. In his short time here, we have already been able to evolve our product and habitats to another level. With a great team spirit and an agressive work ethic, he has
carved himself a permanent position on our roster of all-stars. A loving husband and proud father of two teenage daughters, he is a huge asset to our team
and community |
